dubiousintent
The "merge/bash patch" is NOT about reducing the plugin count. It is about resolving "record level conflicts", which "merge plugins" do not. My suggestion to try Wrye is for comparison, to see if it's "bashed patch" resolved any conflicts the manually created version did not catch. To see what I am referring to, load your entire LO into FNVEdit and then see plugins with record conflicts (red backgrounds) in the right-hand pane. The last column (plugin name) is the winning plugin in each case. If it isn't your "merge patch", it's a "Rule of One" issue. -Dubious-
Watercrown
I did see a few of those "rule of one" sections you mentioned. I had setup my order so I would get my desired effects, but eh, I created a bashed patch anyhow. So far it seems to be working identical. It lowered my plugin count at the very least and that's gotta do something for stability. Anyhow... problem still persist... if it is a problem anyhow. Anyone care to test this for me? Become vilified with Legion... rest for a few days. Are random legions hostile or not? EDIT: So I tested this completely vanilla. Uninstalled, deleted directory and My documents saves... same exact behavior. Edited August 11, 2017 by Watercrown
