Pugzilla
I've got NV Ultimate Edition on steam.I installed Project Nevada with NMM. Have SKSE 5 installed and archive invalidation activated. I've tried repeatedly reinstalling PN 2.5.Keep getting the "HUD extensions not detected" message when I enter the game.Only other mod currently installed is UIO (have tried disabling that, it didn't help). Any ideas? This is really annoying. Any help greatly appreciated.
dubiousintent
SKSE is for "Skyrim"; not FNV. You need NVSE. Please see the 'Checklist item #4' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. Also suggest you read the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article about other differences between the two games.-Dubious- Edited August 2, 2017 by dubiousintent
Pugzilla
Sorry, I meant NVSE, I've that installed.http://nvse.silverlock.org/ Edited August 2, 2017 by Pugzilla
dubiousintent
See that entry I linked. It covers some common errors when installing, and shows how to test that NVSE is installed and working properly. Until you know that is working properly you are running in circles. Once you can confirm NVSE is working as intended, then you need look into "The Mod Configuration Menu" (MCM) plugin. PN comes with an old version, and you need to install the later "standalone" version after it. See the "MCM Warning" section of the "HUD-UI-Menu Issues" article. There is a link to MCM in that article. -Dubious-
Pugzilla
Thanks, I confirmed that NVSE is working, by putting 'getnvseversion' into the console.I've got the MCM, but have it uninstalled at the moment.
Pugzilla
MCM not appearing in the pause menu. Anyone know why?
dubiousintent
Check that you have the entries in XML files as pointed out in the "The Mod Configuration Manager (MCM)" section of the "HUD-UI-Menu Issues" article. You may need to install MCM by way of FOMM (linked in the article) instead of NMM. -Dubious-
