Alucardeverlasting
Weird problem I have encountered and need help immediately, I am starting a new game today and was messing around with some of my mods and had to reinstall the FOMOD Weapons Reanimation mod but after setting up the file and trying to add it to the NMM mod list so I could proceed with the customization process NMM just refused to add the mod to the list. I thought at first it was a problem with the file but after a few tests I am unable to add any mods to my list and have to install mods directly into my NV Steam Data folder, this would not be a huge issue if not for the fact the weapons reanimation mod requires NMM for the set up process. So how the hell do I fix this?
dubiousintent
Where do you have Steam installed? If to the default location of "C:\Program Files", please read the "Installing Games on Vista+" article in my signature and move it. Otherwise, you have a "privileges" problem with your NMM configuration. There are some tutorials linked in the 'Mod Managers' section of the article mentioned below. "FOMOD" files should be installed with FOMM. They are packaged in an archive format specific to that mod manager. You can use FOMM to "unpack" the FOMOD package and the result can then be installed with other managers such as NMM, but most likely you would be missing some of the scripted effects of the FOMOD packaging without more work on your part, so it is not recommended. Please see the 'Terminology' and 'Mod Managers' sections of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. -Dubious-
