Hoard Building

Now that my Hero is nearing the soft level cap, he is getting at least a handful of gems out of every urn or dead body he passes. After a bit of thought of what to do with all of this new found wealth he has decided to embrace the dragon blood that flows threw his veins and start sleeping on a hoard of gold and precious stones. I picked out the small room in the bottom of Proudspire manor. It has a bed roll on the ground and is empty with the exception of a few crates. However when i went to start filling my hoard i hit a snag. While I can put my money in a container I cant just drop it on the ground because, the UI when I'm in my inventory puts the gold I have at the bottom right of the screen and not in my actual inventory. Is there a mod out there that will allow me to drop my hard earned coin on the ground or am i going to have to make due with gold bars witch i don't think would be nearly as comfortable.

( also do you know is there a mod out there that will let me drop more that 5 things at a time and not have them stack into one object?)

You can always make a simple bat file to drop your money. Make a text file. Name it something short (or something that describes what it does). In it you write...

player.drop f 1

player.drop f 1

player.drop f 1

...and repeat it for as many coins you want to drop individually. Save the text file and put it in your Skyrim folder (NOT the Data folder). In-game, open the console and type bat AAA, where AAA is the name you gave the text file. Now you will drop as many coins as you wrote lines into your bat file. However, there may be a limitation to how many coins can be dropped in one go without crashing the game, and also for how many you can have laying around without a frame rate hit.

kk thanks I will give it a try. I had realized that there would probably be a limit to how big I could make my hoard because of the limatations of my computer. I figured would play it by ear as I added more coins to the pile. Honestly it just bugged me more that i couldn't even try than the fact that it probably was a bad idea to do so. thanks!
