Are you saying that you placed another copy of Lydia in your cell and she will not spawn? Or are you saying that the original Lydia will not follow behind you and walk into the new cell?

I hear a lot of reports of incorrect portal usage and a lot of reports of the Bethesda NavMesh design flaw. The portal problems are errors made by modders, but the NavMesh design flaw is a horrible issue that may prevent certain types of mods from being made in large numbers. NPCs that try to walk around in a cell that has NavMeshing added or edited by an .esp may freeze up and be unable to move from their spots. It sounds like the only real fix at this point is to put created interior cells into an .esm and not an .esp.

Did you finalize your navmesh "after" you put in your teleport doors?

Yes, I made the navmesh after I put the teleport doors.

Original lydia.

She asked if you "Finalized" the navmesh, if you just place the navmesh and exit the navmesh paining the navmesh might not work properly. Always press "finalize" then search for navmesh errors and replace any triangles that gives the errors.

My mistake, I wasn't sure what Sunnie meant by finalized. No I didn't.

Do I need to highlight the whole navmesh THEN click finalize? Just clicking finalize seems to finalize the navmesh instantly, so I think I'm doing something wrong.
