Breton Thief Oriana

This hasnt been done, has it? We need a couple of things. First: a band of outlaws. Next: a hero. And anything else you can think of, like a sidekick, the marshall, the posse, whatever. also, as this is a pure Wild West sortof setting, no magic, but swords such as "cavilry saber" are accepted. also, appropriate weaponry; i dont want a hero to throw anything like a plasma grenade or have a rocket launcher, as it isnt acceptable for the story line. but- now for the story:

The town of Silverstrike is being threatened by a group of bandits. They storm through town, shooting and looting innocent citizens. Will no hero rise to the acclaim? Will no man, worhty of the glory or not, put a stop to these filthy outlaws? They have knocked over everything but the Silverstrike Claims Office, but its rumored that this building is soon to fall into the greedy hands of the brutal gang. The fair city of Silverstrike has a history of being a boomtown that made it, with its own saloon and gambling hall, the town bank, marketplace, churchyard (with tales of a hidden treasure beneath the graves), and enough land to support a new big city. If the outlaws reap what's left of the small town, all its people are doomed.

Now for my character: Willy Westershin Grahm, the notorious outlaw, also mentioned as "Crimson West" for all the blood he has spilled. His skill with a six-shooter surpasses most men of the region. This man has been shot with an arrow soaked in rattlesnake venom while raiding a tribal village, and still managed to live. As of late, he has brought together a gang of the most infamous criminals ever to plague the wild west with his colt 1878.

Yeah sure, I'll sign up.

I'll be in the gang.

Name: Gabriel

Weapon: 1885 Highwall Target Rifle with special Vernier gunsights

(bottom gun. Add an old gunsight)

Age: 21

Appearance: Clean shaven, tanned. Broad shoulders. Worn out brownish clothing, in the style of the time.

History: When Gabriel was young, he would often go out hunting with his fathers old rifle. He proved to be an excellent marksman, picking off small birds from far away. At 16 he joined the army, and at 20 left. He got bored with the life he was leading, and turned his training to that of his own fortunes. For about a year now he has operated with other gangs, picking off opponents from far away before the actual gang rides through.

I will join if power playing is not allowed, assuming it will be like that:

Name: Tl'iish Bighán (snake-back in Apache, pronouced "teesh big-an")

Race: Apache Indian

Age: 24

Physical Description:

1.82 meters tall, light brown skin, black eyes, and straight dark hair. He has large birthmark on his back that resembles the patern on a diamondback rattlesnake.

Character Info:

Born the child of a fierce warrior, Tl'iish Bighán recieved his name from a birthmark on his back that resembled the pattern on a diamondback rattlesnake, the Shaman decleared that this meant he would be as cunning and deadly as a rattlesnake. From a young age he was taught to use firearms stolen and/or bought by the tribe, his inate ambidexterity allowed him to use a gun in one hand and an axe in the other. He learned how to ride a horse from his mother who was the best female rider of the Apache, as a matter of fact she was probably the best rider of all the Apache, but the men did not care to admit it (exept for her husband, who did so only in private). Raised to be a warrior, by the age of 16 he had already participated in several raids. When he became 18, the Army traded the tribe's help, in the form of several warriors assisting in fighting against the Comanche and the promise to stop raiding settlements and caravans, for food, supplies, and the Army's promise not mess with their lands. Tl'iish was part of the group of warriors assisting the Army, he continued in the servise of the Army for two years before setting out on his own. Shortly after leaving the Army, Tl'iish found a wild, spirited horse that cought his attention, after two weeks of relentless pursuit he finally captured and tamed the horse, whom was named Ch'ígoná'áí or Sun because of his golden hair. Now four years later Tl'iish Bighán and Ch'ígoná'áí have worked toghether at various odd jobs, from being cowboys to bounty hunters, to earn a living, they don't care much what the job is, so long as it pays and it does not keep them away from the large expanse of the west. Any group travelling/working with him has the benefit that if Apache raiders appear, Tl'iish can ride up to them and convince them to leave. Also, a criminal gang, or group of law enforcements officials in search of a criminal gang, might be provided help and shelter by his tribe.

Fighting Style:

Tl'iish Bighán is proficient in the use of the Winchester Rifle, Colt Army Single Action (aka Peacemaker, Equalizer, etc.), and War Axe. Because he uses three different weapons he is not a master of any, but he can still use his weapons with deadly accuracy, enough to earn the respect of master marksmen. He primarily uses the rifle for most engagements. The revolver, is for close-combat when a fast fire and reload rate is more important than long-range accuracy, it also serves as a back-up when the the rifle runs out of ammunition and there are no nearby places to reload, or when he is surprised by the enemy when reloading the rifle. He fires his Colt by using his free hand to pull back the hammer and the hand holding the revolver to fire it, this makes the fire rate as fast or faster than a double action revolver, all six bullets can be fired in about 3-4 seconds by using this firing method. The Axe is used mostly when he is out of ammunition, or for extreme close-combat when using the revolver would be mostly a waste of bullets. The other use of the axe is to hold it in one hand while having the revolver in the other, this reduces the fire rate of the revolver (to slighly less than 1 bullet per second) since now the hand holding the axe can't be used to quickly pull back the hammer of the gun, this is an even trade off for the ability to spill the guts of nearby enemies and still kill those that are farther away.
