WorldShaperDragon
I can't seem to find any info on the skyrim .tri files. Are they identical to say, the ones from oblivion (ie, can I just refer to the oblivion documentation on them?). I don't imagine they would be the same though, given how many other things have changed. However, IIRC, i'll be fine so long as I don't do any geometry changes to a race head mesh, right? throttlekitty
the .tri structure is the same, but things work a different here. Chargen shapes are stored in another tri (rather than an egm), so we have fewer morphs, but more control over them this time. and yes, if you're editing the nif, shape changes only, nothing that would re-order verts. WorldShaperDragon
nice, thanks (Just hoping that max isn't magically reordering the verts like it was on the armor, despite doing nothing than transforming a total of 2 verts on the armor I was working on earlier)
WorldShaperDragon
Hmm, when I was trying to import the head mesh as a headpart (without touching the setting for the .tri file), the CK would crash [Note that it wasn't even displaying the vanilla head meshes in the mesh file selection preview box to start with, and would throw some error about tint maps missing or something]. How should I proceed?
