Ok, so I read on most of the voice npc stuff. I have to convert my wav to xmv in order for the npc to talk. Cuz with the wav and lipsync file, i dont see sht happening. So how do i do it. I have the xmv converter thing from the intermediate design tutorial/the thread recently. I double click it and a black window pops up for a second then dissapears. Do I have to install the direct x sdk thing. Cuz the dude says it 500+ mb. Like seriously, converting a file would take 500 mb. Or do i just make the directory for it and convert it? I just got this laptop over the summer its intel i7 processsor with turbo booster 2.0, nvidia geforce 540 gt/intel hd family, dont ask how i have 2 gfx cards, and stuff. So shouldn't my windows 7 home premium 64 bit already have this direct x sdk?

I assume you're trying to use xWMAEncoder.exe to convert stuff?

First, you need a command line interface. It isn't a GUI, so pull up a CLI and type in:

xWMAEncode something.wav something.xmv

The above should convert your wav formatted audio into XWMA, assuming all the files are in the same folder. The biggest download you'll have to deal with would be LibreOffice (if you don't already have Word for the Excel files).
