Why is There No Mod Request Section for The Witcher 1?

Is it because of how old the game is? Because, I certainly wouldn't mind having a mod let me teleport to Temple Quarter and the Swamp back and forth without having to worry about finishing Chapter 2 and not being able to do that anymore. Also, I wouldn't mind having a mod where there was a Shopkeeper having every herb, food, etc. available instead of very specific items. So, more cheating. ^_^

There are not many mods for The Witcher 1, I think the main reason is, that Djinni (the modding tool) is not easy to use. Maybe the second reason is, that the most of us crazy people who love that game to date, love it because it is as it is.

You know, the books never stated Geralt actually had two swords on his back, it's the first game's invention because of one certain technical problem-without a horse in the first two games, our main character has to carry them on his back, the third game continues with it, but fortunately the mod "Swords on the Roach" can help with it and you can keep one sword on your back and the other is in the saddlebags. Just like the first Sapkowski's short story implied-the stranger that turns out to be Geralt, carries one sword on his back, later we discover there's a special second sword, the silver one, in his possession. And in the books steel works as good against most monsters as silver, hence the witcher usually uses the steel one, he doesn't need to switch weapons like in the games.

About the original question: Well, there are still a lot of mods for The Witcher 1, sometimes you can see new ones posted here, you just have to keep in mind that the game is old as for gaming standards, most of TW1 modders moved on and the editor has its limits, so does the game that had been built upon Bioware's Aurora engine, so you cannot expect things that people can create for The Witcher 3, for example. But still, there are many wonderful mods for the first Witcher, the fan-made adventures are the best example for it, just play "The Crossroads", "The Curse, the Love and the Betrayal" or "Entrapped"-quite a few of them out here.
