Replacing Heroic Imperial Armour From IA With Jedo's Roman Imperial Armour

I wasn't very pleased with the Heroic Imperial Armour from Immersive Armours and so I've managed to replace part of the armour and set the body slot from the helmet nif to the one in the creation kit but the face does not appear for both female and males. Am I doing something wrong? btw I have very limited beginner experience and I'm not really familiar in this area, any help is most appreciated
