sgtpetterzon2
Good evening everyone! I've been playing Fallout 4 now for a fiew weeks and there is one thing that bothers me more then anything about this game, and It's the design of the cars. It's a parallell timeline and set in the future, I get that but the cars dont look like real vehicles. They look like something from a cartoon. They could not be practical to use. Thick windshield bars in the middle of the windshield? Strange proportions. One-seat pickup? It ejects me from the game a bit and takes away the hardcore, gritty feel you can get from this game (even more so with mods). However. I have been making texture replacers for both SE and Oldrim for some time so Im not 100% noob but going in to the mesh bussiness made me lose a few hairs. So I sort of gave up. I got really in to it when i found these free models on sketchfab.https://sketchfab.com/models/5d206cd4ac94495bb4cdc1a052353771https://sketchfab.com/models/5d206cd4ac94495bb4cdc1a052353771https://sketchfab.com/models/0f85ad5a498f41bba9e07c18a6f86bfehttps://sketchfab.com/models/1fdd5605166049398556827f73cd0545https://sketchfab.com/models/cc8f07d18d4048a28f942c0d9049fd54 I have not spoken with the author, that ofcourse has to be done first. But his models are sweet and would give a much more real feel to the game. They are low poly with high enough texture resolution, and most of all well made. The Chevy 57 is amazing. It wouldnt be completely loore friendly but acceptable. Anyone interested in the idea? Have a good one!/Seb
