ebonmort
Hello,I'm using "Natural Bodies all in one." But, some of my body textures look absolutely bizarre. Rexel and Oswyn and Irminric (from Arl's Dungeon) and Alistair (at Fort Drakon) have two hands growing out of their upper chests, like an alien bursting thru. I loaded "...all in one" with Nexus ModManager. Didn't see any steps for turning on or off any files. Is there something I can do for this? Thanx in advance. Thandal
RTFM. From the mod author's Description:You need 7zip (http://www.7-zip.org/) to extract the *.7z packagesand the DAO-Modmanager (www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/554) to install the override package NBaio is a ".override" mod. NMM, (or DAM, or DAUpdater, for that matter) has no idea how to handle it.

Some helpful modding advice (excerpted from here) that I think is is the most important thing to bear in mind, for a trouble-free modding experience: Know what you are installing. Understand exactly what each mod does, and understand what it doesn’t do. To that end, always read the ReadMe or other included documentation. If there isn’t any (and Dragon Age modders often do not include any information in their archives *wags finger disapprovingly*), review the description on the download page and read through the comments. Make note of any additional requirements, prerequisites, known conflicts, installation instructions, or (especially for armour/weapon mods) console codes. When I download a mod, I also copy and paste any pertinent information from the site to a TXT file, for reference and archiving.
ebonmort
I thought that since I could download it into NexusModManager, that it would work from NexusModManager.... Silly me. :geek:
theskymoves
I thought that since I could download it into NexusModManager, that it would work from NexusModManager.... Silly me. :geek: Never assume that just because a DAO mod can be downloaded with the NMM, that it will work with/can actually be installed via the NMM... many many DAO mods on the Nexus predate the NMM, and are not packaged for installation with that utility. The option to DL with the NMM was retroactively enabled for those mods when the NMM added DAO as a supported game, but the modders who uploaded those mods may have moved on/are MIA, and thus did not manually opt out. Nevertheless, it is bad practice for any game, and a recipe for problems, to install any mod, new or old, without reading the documentation... it's there for a reason.
