dadino88
I'm actually mastering a Pathfinder (the paizo's rpg) session with my friends using maptool to create maps. Maptool is a virtual tabletop that allow me to upload my maps on my computer and move character's tokens around those maps following a grid (using the 5x5 foot size given by the rules). I was wondering if it could be possible to make my maps using the creator kit and load them in a special version of skyrim where players and npc can be moved ONLY following the grid and only by the gamemaster (maybe the characters could be moved by the character's owner, but that should need a lan connection -not necessary now).It should just be a visual aid for the players and the gm, nothing fancy like macros to execute spells (at least in the early stage).Summing up:1-Fast way to create maps (of dungeons, cities, buildings, forests, ecc) using the models already in the game (so just grab them from the gallery and save them in a small map).2-Overlay a grid with a 5x5foot square over the map.3-Load those maps in a separate world than the one of Skyrim (a map can go from the inside of a building to an entire city).4-Ability for the gm to spawn npc (monster and characters) in a given position in the grid and with given equipment (maybe save a particular npc in a galley so the gm can easely bring it up everytime he needs it).5-Lock the movement of the npc to the grid, it should work just like chess (turn based, grid based). 6-A bounch of animation: walk, charge, cast, attack, die, faint, go stealth.OPTIONAL7-Ability to spawn an effect on a given area (eg fire in a 5 square radius for 4 turns).8-Ability to give an npc some line of speech.9-Ability for the GM to create a server where players can connect. GM see everything (free fly camera, invisible enemies, location of traps, notes), players only see what gm want them to see (camera locked on their character, first or 3d person view). I haven't still used the creator kit so i don't know what can be done and what not, but i think a mod like this could be used by a lot of people who now play with vtt. Hope you like the idea! See ya!
