Texrures for custom Race

After a while of Googling, I've failed to find any mention of the necersary procedure for applying custom textures to a new race, so I figured I'd ask here.

So, has anyone worked this out yet? I have an almost fully functional custom race but can't for the love of me figure out how to impliment custom textures to it.

All and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advanced.

I don't have a solution, but I'm having the exact problem, and is it irritating?

I've tried to import more hairstyles aswell, but it just ends up with one default style, and an invisible body, it's definitely not as easy as the official tutorial states, how did they do it? :S

What do you mean by custom textures? What you have to do is assign them in the CK thru Forms List. There is a script that could possibly help look for Creating a playable race tutorial in the mod section it has scripts that also help. Or you can make new headparts Forms and recreate each piece as I did but thats very tedious. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10165

In the General Data Tab there is a section titled "Copied Data". Filling out that section with the race that I had duplicated to make mine fixed the glitchy hair and invisible body problems for me.

What do you mean by custom textures?

Argonians have scales, Kahjiit have fur and the rest have skin. Before have various tints layered over the top, these are applied from DDS texture files. Those base textures are what I mean.

I have done that but only the BumpMap in my "Form List" (I believe this one is called a Texture Set?) is visible so I expect that I've missed a step somewhere.

Thanks I'll try these.
