Weird pink edges in caves

Hi, I downloaded over 200 mods yesterday. Everything works just fine, but these visual bugs really piss me off. They only appear on the edges of stone (look at the pictures). I allready disabled all visual changing mods and reloaded skyrim, but the bug was still there. Does any one know how I can fix this without reinstalling Skyrim?

Purple textures happen because there is a mod that changes a mesh, where that mesh points to certain new textures, and the textures aren't loading for whatever reason (usually a faulty installation).

 

Have you installed SMIM? I don't see any SMIM esps, but I thought I would ask anyway. I think there are cliff skirt blending things in that mod. Since part of that seems to be the edge of that water, my only other suggestion is to move Realistic Water Two to the bottom of your load order to see if that fixes it.

 

If you have SMIM along with other retextures, be sure to install that in the correct order. It's usually SMIM first, then other texture mods on top, allowing them to overwrite SMIM. If you're going to reinstall that, be sure to REinstall, don't just enable it again in NMM as that will only put everything back where it was, including the missing textures. You will need to install it again.

I FIXED IT!!! It had nothing to do with Realistic Water but just as you guessed with SMIM. I simply reinstalled SMIM and it was fixed, lets hope I wont encounter more bugs in the future.

Glad it all worked out. NMM sometimes has difficulty with very large files/mods, so I'm guessing it did leave some meshes behind when you removed it that first time.
