Sanatyr
I have limited experience with vanilla Oblivion, having spent most of my first few weeks assembling a huge mod list with FCOM. Everything is in the right load order and seems to be fine, (and I've turned off all the data files to troubleshoot this), but it seems like my character floats up over rough terrain or the top of stairs and spends a few seconds floating or sliding back into contact with the ground... Is this just a problem with the game itself or did I doink something up along the way?

Sanatyr
Just a few inches into the air. For example, running up stairs and stopping will find my character a little bit "above" the ground, which he slowly sinks back to.

Just so long as you're not a few feet above the ground. :P Cheers,gman021 Have fun! :D
Sanatyr
Ok, thanks. Thought I was going crazy for a second. Can't believe theres no fix for this. Kind of disconcerting when I climb on top of a boulder to take in some new vista, my field of view descends as my feet settle onto the rock!
