PaperTiger74
I know this may not sound very exiting. But lets face it - Who is paying for all those castles, guards, gardens and other city services? The people of course. So I would like to see this: When I buy one of the (official) houses in any of the cyrodiil cities I become a citizen and have to pay a weekly fee. This fee will be higher the fancier the house is. So for the shack at the waterfront it would be, lets say 50g/week. For the Skingrad appartment you would have to pay 500g/week. Considering how much money you generate at higher levels this would balance things a bit. If you "forget" to pay your taxes you will recieve a bounty, and if your repeatedly avoid paying you will gain infamy points. As a last resort the city will expropriate your house and it will go back to it's scratch condition, meaning you will have to buy it again. All objects placed within will be lost (alternatively you have to buy them back at a fixed price). A special NPC will handle the actual tax collection and he will try to hunt you down if you are seen in the vicinity of the city. If you refuse to pay he will report back to the count and your bounty will go up. Good idea or just annoying?
