Trying to view/edit MQ101PlayerSpouseFemale always crashes ck

If I simply select Fallout4.esm, find the form for Nora, MQ101PlayerSpouseFemale, and try to edit it the Creation Kit crashes. Every time. It also crashes if I try to use "preview". Since I don't see any other messages about this anywhere does anyone have and idea how I can diagnose this?

 

I'm using the current CK, I just uninstalled and reinstalled it, and the current Fallout 4. The game works fine, Nora and all, but this seems to be the one form I can't edit.

 

I did notice when searching the forms in the CK that Nora is under Preset/HumanRace/Female and not Actor/HumanRace/Female which looks out of place.

 

I have CBBE but renamed the female mesh files as a test and that didn't help. Besides, I can see other females rendered just fine. I can look a character based on this template in an existing mod and that copy will open. If I open the MQ101PlayerSpouseFemale form in a mod the CK crashes there as well.

I tried making a copy but the same issue happens if I try to edit the copy.

 

Also, the Bethesda installer won't let me install the CK in an alternate location. I thought I might be able to create a separate folder for the CK and extract a "clean" fallout 4 set of data files there but...nope.
