Belgarion75
how many mods can you get on there? what kind? im completely new to mods but ive been playing FNV for maybe 2 yrs, being able to mod it is the coolest,i just got a laptop to use exclusively for FNV and it is working great but in my over enthusiasm to mod I went overboard after like 4 mods worked great and installed maybe 10 at once. Some manually that I didnt do properly i guess because my game kept crashing so I restored from before the mods were added and this time im going to do it properly. can i add mods like drivable motorcycles? how about "Run Lucky 38 or Blackrow? do to my system im running at med or low but the graphics dont matter to me as much as the content, can I add quest mods?new weapons and clothes/armor? how about music? i tried a music mod mod it kept skipping thanks for your time
dubiousintent
The issue is not generally your hardware with more recent machines. It's that the game was designed for 2010 Windows Vista machines with 32-bit OS. There are hard limits, such as that it is not designed for greater than 60FPS, and "soft" ones such as the roughly 140 active plugins (depending upon your system and graphics resolution). Please see the 'Third Rule: The Rule of One', 'Smaller Plugin Cap', and 'Merge Patch file' sections of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. As for the "music skipping" issue, please see the 'Issue: Ambient music skips/jitters/hiccups/pops/stutters' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. -Dubious-
