Do you mean translate as in from English to Spanish, or translate as in English to Binary? :P

JK,JK...

Seriously though, what language do you need it to be in?

English>French and perhaps English>Italian

I think only a localized version has that capability (probably determined in the ini), however files and names of stuff in game will change based on the language being used by Oblivion. There are mods in German, Japanese, and Korean, among other languages, so there has to be something allowing for this.

If not, the worst you have to deal with is a menu that is in a foreign language, in which case you just learn to remember where things are. And I'm not saying that as some sort of egotistical "you should learn english damnit" sentiment. Although I can't go into details, I have at times had to use software written in another language for one thing or another, and had to browse through complicated sites that disallow english translations, so it isn't impossible. You just have to be willing to extend yourself. Just be glad that there is a significant amount of documentation (although mostly in english) and the characters are latin based.

As far as this being something that you, or another person could do... It can't be done, you would likely need to crack the .exe to apply a translation patch for menus. As that goes against TOS, it isn't suggested.

I'm a German, can i say it? :D

You should learn english, damnit! :D

Its really useful, the fact that you can watch american shows and Movies in the orginal Synchro is worth it. German synchro can be, in some rare instances, better then the english synchro. In Animated Shows, there is no "orginal" Voice. The German Homer Simpson is better then the english one. In your Faces :D

The Voice of "Marge" sucks. In my Face ;(

But mostly, its Crap. No matter what you do, the best thing possible is to get close to the original.

Even if you have a Synchro which is really good, you are better off with the original.

And in some cases the german synchro is bad. Baaaaad...

Our "Dr. House" is voiced by a Man whose Voice couldnt be more different...

Well, back to the Topic: learn english, damnit! :D

The modification I wanted to do in the CS was to put the traduction near the original word. Like that it really helpfully for begginers. The, without do it on perpous, you learn the traduction. After one or two weeks, you can use the original version of the CS.
