Change KillCam Distance & or Free KillCam Mod?

Hello!

I am wondering if there is an ini tweak, or something, that will allow me to change the distance of the kill cam? I have a bunch of would be cool SS, but all I see is my characters leg, ha ha.

Even better, would be a free killcam mod, I have not found one, if one exists.

Any solutioins or alternatives, appreciated.

I suggest you have a look at VioLens. It is a mod focused on the killcams and killmoves in Skyrim and offers many options and tweaks for the settings of these. I use it myself, and highly recommend it.

yes, I did look at that, but it did not seem to have the kind of control I am looking for. I will take another look.

I would be surprised if you will find this type of camera control you want.

 

As far as I understand the Violens instructions you can do a lot of configuration based on the general types of camera settings. But you cannot change distance, let alone a free killcam.

 

The base problem here is that the (moving) camera position is part of the animation. And from the behaviors I know of no parameters other then switching that camera on or off.

VioLens description did not give me hope that it was possible with that mod.

I appreciate the explanation & sharing your expertise. :)

I will probably give VioLens a shot & may reinstall one of the KillCam mods & see what I can get.

Why not starting a Skyrim mod career here, NexTextGorilla? :)

 

It's really simple to do. I have made a Flyer mod, and because I'm a horrible animator I used the vanilla swimming animation. Swimming in the air, certainly strange, but it works.

 

But I have a few things no one else has. One is that I can look straight down during the flight. Implemented by animating the cam node for the swimming animations. The same node which is used for killmoves.
