Dandys
So you know how the "cond" leveled lists (like CondPowerArmorT51b or Cond10mmPistol) usually have a few forms like a 10% and a 15% and a 20% version or something? I hate going on loot runs to find that I get identical copies of the same weapon or piece of armor. With this, it would decrease the probability of getting exact copies of something from 1/4, 1/9, 1/16 something like that to 1/1000000, 1/4000000, 1/9000000, millions of times less likely. I was thinking it would be cool to make them much more staggered so for example they would be likeweap10mmpistol 10.00%weap10mmpistol 10.01%weap10mmpistol 10.02%...weap10mmpistol 20.00% or, if that would make the mod too large or something, I want to at least have it go every integer. Anyway, as I bet you can guess, making just one of these in the GECK the traditional way is near impossible and would take too much time to make many of them for different weapon/armor. I am thinking though that there must be some way to do it with FNVedit. Assuming I can make one of these leveled lists as a template, do any of you know of any way to quickly substitute all of the forms in the leveled list quickly and automatically using FNVedit or something so I don't have to make the list all over again? so for instance I can have weapnv9mmpistol 10.00%weapnv9mmpistol 10.01%weapnv9mmpistol 10.02%...weapnv9mmpistol 20.00% ? Just so you know, I have thought of scripting this and found that it would probably be less efficient and more prone to bugs, so I think making the leveled lists is the only option. Cyberlazy
Unfortualy I know of no way to do this. There is a way to do it manualy and then use FNVedit to change all the entrys that point to one record, to point to another record.. Still a lot of work however.
