dubiousintent
Searched for "Ultra Realistic World Lighting", but didn't find it on Nexus. Did find a comment that it was "currently under moderator review as a possible stolen mod" in 2010. Apparently it was ported from FO3. Problems reported with it and "perks" even then. I don't use lighting mods, but did find "FNV Realistic Wasteland Lighting" by Sal203 and xCamoLegend (20K endorsements), which you might consider as an alternative. It also has TTW support and incorporates YUP fixes. Thanks for reporting back on the cause. -Dubious- Edited August 20, 2017 by dubiousintent
EverChosen97
Thank you for the recommendation  but sadly RWL just isnt for me, it doesn't give you full control over the weather like other mods such as "Ultra realistic Wasteland Lighting" and completely removes or messes with special weathers like the camp searchlight fog or the DLC weathers which I wish to keep as vanilla as possible. I too am beginning to think that just sticking with vanilla weather is the way to go. EDIT: In case someone reads this thread again and to save me from having to make another one, I'm now having a problem where the Arc welder stream mesh is missing. Its now just shooting giant exclamation marks. I'm using EVE but I'm fairly sure the AW and tesla cannon use the same projectile and the tesla works fine. I also have a retexture for the AW (improved heavy weapon textures or IHWT is the mod) but I'm fairly sure that doesnt touch the projectile either Edited August 21, 2017 by EverChosen97
dubiousintent
Re: missing mesh. Please see the 'Issue: Find the source mod-index of an object in-game' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. -Dubious-
EverChosen97
okay so I've followed the guide (thanks for pointing out anyway, will use it more often now) and in game It has the form id "ff002ac4" and I cant find what the first two numbers are since it isn't the normal electricity effect from the base game. At least I now know its a mod causing it, but I'm not sure what mod of mine changes it.
dubiousintent
The "FF" prefix/"mod index" means it's a "save game" reference of an object instance in the game world. (Its briefly described in the article. The article links to another on how to determine the mod index. The links are there for a reason, because why duplicate perfectly good information that happens to be elsewhere?) This won't help you to identify the mod source file. Try to locate the object in a container (such as your Pip inventory), which will have it with a mod index. Try to find a point on the object with a prefix that doesn't match the game file (00) or one of the DLCs (which will be from 01-05) or the POP "weapon packs" (which will be from 06-09) if you have them all installed. -Dubious-
