3 Dragons at once?

I was wandering around Sarethi Farm harassing the goats, when suddenly I hear a roar and everyone draws their weapons. I look around, thinking to myself, "Yet another dragon. This is getting dull."

 

I finally see the 'dragon' and realize that three dragons have decided to attack at the same time. Needless to say, they butcher the entire farm, including all the goats, but my dog solos one of them and pwns it so I only have to fight two. It was a fun fight. I wasn't aware that Skyrim could pit you against so many dragons at once without a mod. This was without any dragon mods or levelled list mods, by the way.

 

Can you beat that? How many dragons have you faced at once without mods or console commands to spawn them?

Can't top three at once, but I can put down me somehow kiting a random encounter dragon to the first proper Alduin fight. Lost the corpse when it slid off the mountain. Edited February 29, 2012 by Pentigan

I kinda wonder if Bethesda snuck some things in, in the latest patch

 

cause I also encountered something unusual after the patch

There have been many reports of battling multiple dragons that I've seen in the forum. I don't think it's anything new added in. I've had two dragons attack a few times going all the way back to the first or second patch. But no I've never had three.

Any dragon that gets its ass handed to it by a dog doesn't deserve to be a dragon, in my book.

I have also fought two prior to the recent update without using mods or console commands.

I don't remember the exact number, I think it was over 5 and I beat all but one and I will explain why below.

 

 

Endgame after you kill Aduin if you don't kill Paarthurnax, there will be a short scene with tons of dragons there, I killed all of them exvept for Ohdaviin, who I accidentally hit with Dragonrend so he started to attack me, but his health would not drop at all, seriously just to test if he was killable I turned on God mode and hacked away at him for like 10 minutes, no drop in health.

I have only seen 1 at a time, i should also mention i'm currently level 30 and only killed 2 dragons, the first dragon at the tower, and one roaming outside, near Winterhold.

Yes, things can get nutz. I've fought 3 dragons at once. Also, 2 dragons, two bandits, two wolves, a skeever, and giant all at once. Guess who won. Right, not me, until my third save, when I wised up, let the dragons kill the baddies and beasts, then I stepped in an slew the dragons and ate their souls. Edited February 29, 2012 by AbleGnome
