KurganSPK
So thought I had a stable game and could finally start "playing" after a couple weeks of fiddling with a new build... random CTDs for no apparent reason. Working backwards from most recent installed mods to find the problem I discovered removing Wet and Cold solved the issue and vastly increased loading times and reduced all around choppyness or hitching. Game was instantly fluid and CTDs gone... Anyone with similar experience with this particular mod - I've used it before in the past with no issues. I'm guessing with Win 10 memory constraints you can't run as many scripted mods as with Win 7? Shouldn't miss it much with Frostfall installed but I did like WC's having all NPCs go inside during intense storms... that immersive thing. Plus to get it working right with get snowy and DLC you need a few patches and my esp list is brimming.... Y'all still running WC?
Mycenia
If you are using all the effects on all NPCs, it can be quite the script load. I've always used the mod, but I remove the more script heavy effects from NPCs (soggy feet, drips, ect). You'll still get the Go Home features and weather appropriate behaviors. I tend to go bare bones at first and then add effects one at a time until I find my game's limit.
Ondrea
I never had CTD's with Wet and Cold but did have issues with my activators whenever it was in my load order. Clicking on firewood, riding the carriage, etc. would occasionally cause my character to be stuck in place and I would have to reload to a previous save. Really enjoyed the mod, but I had to give it up. Hadn't thought of it being related to Windows 10, but now that you mention it, I don't remember having that issue when I had Win 7. I think that's most of the fun these days.
Cyph3R213
Only problem I've had with that mod was being constantly wet and soggy foot sound even though it wasn't raining. Other than that no other huge problems on my end. BTW, are you using Skyrim Memory Patch (SSME). It might help mitigate some pressure off your heavy scripted mods, especially if you've installed lots of hi-res textures.
