Grass Is only showing in the Creation Kit.

When working on landmasses, grass is only rendered in the creation kit, and not in Skyrim. There is grass everywhere else but not on my new land masses. What's up with that. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm also having the same problem, and it's a little bit annoying. I have to add the grass manually...

Floating Grass Fix

The Bug

A problem with grass textures not updating correctly. This fix will make your animated grass behave correctly in the CK, as well as in-game.

For the Game

Open up both Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini and at the bottom of the [Grass] section add/alter this:

bAllowLoadGrass=0

bAllowCreateGrass=1

bDrawShaderGrass=1

For the Editor

In the skyrim installion folder open SkyrimEditor.ini and at the bottom of the [Grass] section add:

bAllowCreateGrass=1

bAllowLoadGrass=0

I did it, but now the CK crashes everytime I push the save button, I can't fix it!

I share your pain im working on my biggest mod at the moment "returning to madness" and the fact that grass is not apearing in the game is acturaly the biggest buzzkill i have ever encountered

i did this and did not crash however adding the documents didnt do anything i must have did them wrong so i will retry
