WorldShaperDragon Posted March 1, 2012 Share Posted March 1, 2012 I've found that all the tails I've exported... fail to animate with the rest of the body. They just stick out. The verts are weighted and everything, but nothing happens. I've managed to get armor to export fine, and the tail uses the exact same system afaik, so I'm not sure what is wrong. WorldShaperDragon Posted March 1, 2012 Author Share Posted March 1, 2012 Ok, solved this with some good old-fashioned brute-force trial & error:D For anyone who wants to know, the process that worked for me was: Export with smoothing group 2, weld verts to 0, Nif w/ animations Open up the original nif, copy over the BSBehaviorGraphExtraData to the new one, look at the block details>> Right click name, select "edit string index" - add an entry "BGED">> Right click Behaviour Graph File, select "edit string index" - add an entry [filepath from original nif's BSBehaviorGraphExtraData Take care of any other post processing (ie, replacing the BSLighting with the original one, etc) Save! magnemoe Posted March 6, 2012 Share Posted March 6, 2012 This has be driven me mad, made an mod who made the Khajiit tails more similar in width, removing the baseball bat look.
