I'm having the same problem all of a sudden. Started the Stormcloak quest to take over Whiterun and as soon as I start walking to the gate with the stormcloaks, it crashes. If I get ANYWHERE's near whiterun, it crashes. I waited 12 hours before I walked over and the quest was done, it still crashes.

Only does it on that save, My other save I walked straight passed that one point and no crash. WTF

There is a new version of SKSE for the current proper version of Skyrim (not the new Beta version). It addresses memory leaks that lead to crashes in save files. Since using the new SKSE I have not had a single crash even though I got them as regularly as once every 4 hours.

It may not resolve your issue, because it may not be the SKSE memory leak at fault... but give it a go anyway because it will resolve other issues.

Can I trust this? And do I just save anywheres? I'm new to stuff like that.
