Brainstrain2424
So, after a few years of modding Skyrim(as in downloading, not creating), I finally decided that trying out ENB shouldn't be too hard, right? Easily the most complicated mod I've had to download, and I think I messed up. So I load in my game, and this pops message pops up in the left hand corner of my screen "Error! bFloatPointTarget=1 is not set in SkyrimPrefs.ini or you have several copies of this file". So when I'm outside, the floor and anything on the bottom half of the screen is super blurry and the top half, such as the sky, is beautiful. BTW, I'm using RealVision. I've got no clue whatsoever what any of this could possibly even mean. I've no idea what I could've done wrong, I made sure to follow all the instructions of downloading and installing ENB, but obviously somewhere along the way I messed up. So, I'd rather not just uninstall it and restart the process if I have to, most likely because I would just make the same mistake again, whatever it could be. So I'm going to go over all the instruction pages and videos again to recheck all the things that I may have done wrong. Otherwise, I'm asking if any of you know how to fix this or can easily explain in great detail to me(cause I'm pretty thick) exactly what I did wrong. All help is accepted and comes with much thanks from me, and I apologize if I posted this in the wrong forum category.
Jeir
The error itself tells you exactly what's wrong; you didn't set 'bFloatPointTarget=' to '1' in your SkyrimPrefs.ini. Go to Docs/My Games/Skyrim and edit the SkyrimPrefs.ini there. It can be edited and save with NotePad/WordPad.
