ProjectVRD
Hi, I want change my followers default equipment in the CK for my current Save Game. I have looked but all see is people saying it can be done, but alas none of them actually say how it is done. I can't even get as far as finding Lydia in that program to even start editting. The tasks I would like to perform are: Default her Armor to what I gave her (with the enchantments)Default her Bow to what I gave her (with the enchantments)Default her Sword to what I gave her (with enchantments)Default her homebase to Proudspire Manor instead of BreezehomeMake her happier, she is a grumpy cow when told to carry your stuff I can then do the same for my other followers, because it is really annoying how they go back to default and even refuse to use the much better Bow you give them. The homebase thing is so I can find all my followers easily plus having them all in one place would be pretty cool. So if anyone could please let me know how to do this or atleast show me if it has already been described I would be very grateful. I have already checked out the NPC Editor program but it is not good for what Iwant to do, I cannot give her the equipment I enchanted... only the standard stuff like Ebony withOUT enchantments or improved stats. Thanks folks.

Deleted2298921User
To find Lydia in the CK, type HousecarlWhiterun in the 'Filter' box of the 'Object Window' and click 'All'. 1. Is this enchanted armor light? 2. Type FollowerHuntingBow in the 'Filter' box. Then check the 'Playable' box and click 'OK'. This should allow you to see the default follower bow in their inventory in-game. If it continues to respawn then find the quest 'DialogueFollower' in the 'Object Window', click the 'Quest Aliases' tab and double click the alias name 'Follower'. Then, delete the FollowerHuntingBow from the Alias Inventory and click 'OK'. That should remove the default follower bow from Lydia's (and any other follower's) inventory, though I haven't tested it. 3. Are you having a problem with the enchanted sword being equipped by the follower? 5. There are three choices in female housecarl voices: FemaleEvenToned(Lydia's default voice), FemaleYoungEager (Jordis' default voice), and FemaleCommander (Iona's default voice). While in the HousecarlWhiterun 'Actor' box, in the 'Traits' tab, change the 'Voice Type' to any of the above.

Thanks for the reply. 1 - It is enchanted Ebony armour2 - Awesome, will give that a go. 3 - It is enchanted, but she goes back to default when sent home just as with the armor.5- Sweet, will give that a go. If I find them having the same voices annoying I can just change it back and put up with attitude. lol
aarons6
it would probably be easier to make a new npc from scratch..give herpotential player follower faction with a value of 0current player follow faction with a value of -1and player faction with a value of 0 make an outfit with your armor, give her that outfit, a bow and a sword.and place her in the world somewhere. you should be good to go. oh and to fix the color problem make the esp an esm reload the esm and push ctrl f4 with the new npc selected.
