Help With Skyrim Conversion

I've been following this tutorial on how to convert a skyrim mod into fallout 4 and managed to get it into the game standalone and everything. When I was editing the mesh it looked absolutely fine in outfit studio and bodyslide. However when I open it up in nifskope the bottom half of the dress is completely fragmented and it makes for some really awkward clipping whenever I open up the game.

Can someone help me and explain where I went wrong and how I can fix it?

If you need any pictures just let me know but I'd greatly appreciate the assistance.

Maybe the dress isnt properly weighted. In Outfit studio open the skyrim dress and a FO4 dress of about the same size. Set FO4 dress as reference. Copy weights from FO4 dress to skyrim dress.

I'm a little confused on how to do this exactly. I've set the slinky dress as the reference and copied the bone weights but whenever I export the file as an .obj it doesn't seem to carry over when I open it again. I've tried exporting and then trying to copy the bone weight but then I'm stuck with the dress as a reference and it clips through the intended dress.

I'm very new to modding so I've not quite come to grips with how everything functions.

UPDATE: Ignore all of the above I've managed to sort it all out and the main problem I have is that it clips like a MOFO. If anyone has any tips I'd appreciate it otherwise I'll just try and see if another thread has my answer.
