jacky138
I am from Hong Kong as a native Chinese, and I found its dumb-founding that a Chinese Navy submarine does not have one single Chinese character on the ship. seriously, not even a pair of chopstick? we would starting to feel sorry for ourselves if we hadn't touch a pair of chopstick in like two weeks ffs! they are really convenient and does not require lots of space to store them, you would think a Chinese submarine would have atleast store a drawer of them onboard if nothing else... I can provide some help in Chinese words if needed since I had Chinese as my first language. Also, I think some "Chinglish" sign could be interesting to decorate the sub with, for instance: xiaoxin dihua (caution, slippery surface)--"please slip and fall down carefully"/"take notice of safe slippery are very crafty" dangxin pengtou (watch your head)--"careful when meet"(the word 'pengtou' had two meaning in chinese, "bump on the head" and "meeting") Xishoujian (Toilet)--"Urine District"/"Hand Washing Space" Jinzhi chouyan (No Smoking)--"No Smocking" Feiqing wu jin (Do not enter unless when invited)--"Not In" Xiaofang shuan(Fire Hose)--"Fire Fydrant"/"Fire Cock"(I actually saw this myself, I have no idea...) edit: I just found out chinese character are too much for this site, so I'll just use pinyin instead... pra
Sounds fun. Hm, NPCs actually use chopsticks while eating noodles, it is kinda weird that they don't exist as an item. Regarding the cock thing: I know there is some connection between the words "cock" and "faucet", that is, between the male chicken and the device where water comes out. Yeazzal
I was upset when I first got to Yangtze sub I was hoping that there would be at least one Chinese character on that sub. Unfortunately I still haven't seen a mod to add any Chinese characters to the sub. Edited October 27, 2018 by Yeazzal
pra
I wonder if OP is still around. I think by now, I should be able edit the relevant textures and to replace the various signs on the Yangtze, if someone were to give me the actual texts.
