dubiousintent
I concur. Please see the wiki "Installing Games on Windows Vista+" article for why the default Steam behavior of installing games to the "C:\Program Files" folder tree is bad and "disabling UAC and running as Administrator" is NOT sufficient, with instructions how to move it. This is the single most important thing you can do to fix and protect yourself against problems in the future. No sense trying to solve any other problems until you do move it, and you may even be able to put NMC back afterwards. -Dubious-
Woobley
I have moved it yet the tedxture pack will cause crashes galore. disabled however, after 20 or 30 minutes an error spells Out Of Memory still
dubiousintent
Not uncommon to clear up one problem to find it's masking another. Please see the 'Solutions to Performance problems' section and 'Issue: CTD without warning, "Out of Memory error", or stops responding after the Main Menu' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. -Dubious-
Woobley
no error message concerning memory occurs anymore yet after a certain length of time the game will stutter and then freeze or just freexe
dubiousintent
See this "Game Chrashing more often then it should" thread where I just went thru the various steps to solve virtually the same problem. Just start from the beginning and eliminate possible causes one by one. No telling which is the culprit in your situation. We covered all the causes I could think of by the end; but we did resolve it. -Dubious-
