kitcat81
Hey all! Hope somebody can help me. I`m trying to figure out some alternative ways to create a custom npc. The way I can edit NPC faces in the CK is just almost impossible to use. It all freezes after each tweak and the face looks very dark so I barely can see anything. But there are mods with custom NPC-s and some of them look really good ...so I came to a conclusion there must be another tool for this. Unfortunatelly I was unable to find anything related to this myself.
kitcat81
I have found myself. There is a "face ripper" mod that allows to save player face and to trasfer it to a plugin or to another save. Unfortunately, it seems that the mod was broken by the latest FO4 update. Pelgar
Hi Kitcat, If you have a backup of your game files from before the 1.10.20 update you could try rolling your game back to it until face ripper updates. I use several mods that require F4SE so anytime there is an update I copy over the new files from my backup. You need to copy over Fallout4.exe and libscepad.dll in the main Fallout 4 folder and all of the Fallout4 - ?????.ba2 in the data folder.Be sure to make a copy of your new, updated, files before you overwrite them. Unfortunately I did not back up my files. I had to update the game to test my own mods and make sure they still work. I guess it was stupid to do it without a back up, but what's done is done.
