Anardion Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B74_xtpPgnoRS0U1NEN5T3AtWm8 If you've downloaded the Fallout 4 EXE file from Crimsomrider to continue playing with the old version of Fallout 4 that supports F4SE but you're missing the .dll, here's your fix!
Mogomra Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Interestingly enough, I am getting this error message when I try to run the old executables via Nexus Mod Manager. I also can't seem to "quit" - there's no option on the menu anymore. Good to see Bethesda still can't leave well enough alone...

I am playing Survival, but luckily with a mod that gives me the normal save function. For quitting I just use Alt + F4 Edited August 29, 2017 by Anardion
scot Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 (edited) Thank you for some reason the creation kit wouldn't start after the update due to missing this dll Edited August 29, 2017 by scot
ZeroPointZero Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Since that thread for some reason is gone can anyone post just the names of the files and steps needed to roll back the update until/if Bethesda fixes anything?

ZeroPointZero Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 I also found out (via search history) a fallout4.esm is needed too. So far I have the exe, the launcher, the dll file and I managed to find the interface.ba2. Still don't know where to find the esm or startup.ba2 though.
