Is there any weather mods with different seasons of the year?

I've never been much of a fan of weather mods, and since my rig is rather old/weak I've always preferred leaving those out of my load order for the sake of fps and non-scriptheavy gameplay, but one thing I've always wanted from a simple weather mod is for the weather system to check the calendar, and adjust the likelyhood of specific types of weathers according to the season of the year. I couldn't care less about adding any types of different weathers and stuff, I'd just like to see more frequent snowfall in winter, more sunny days in summer, and more rainfall in autumn/spring (or whatever season lore tells is the most rainy in Skyrim) - also, it would work perfectly along Frostfall, making you favor exploring the southernmost areas in winter, and waiting for the summer before exploring northern Skyrim. Is there any weather mod out there that does this? It seems to me like something very likely someone else has already thought of... so it would probably be something either impossible to do, or that someone has aldready done it. Does anyone knows of any mod that does that, or is it really impossible to do??

Super old post, but I have roughly the same request so reviving it...

There are currently two mods that kinda do this, both for Frostfall.

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/92687

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/62679

The first one works for the current Frostfall. Essential for Frostfall players!

HOWEVER, it would be really cool if thereâs port for seasonal variation like those mods on SSE (Cathedral, Aequinoctium, Obsidian). Seems theoretically possible now? Not really a modder / programmer, so would really appreciate any insights.

That's what I'm looking for, too. A mod that adds seasonal weather patterns and works with Frostfall, but for classic Skyrim rather than SSE.

Resurrecting this. I am also looking for it. From what I've heard, the issue most people have is simply that you can't delete major mods like that; but if it was all rolled into one mod, and just set so that textures would change over time, it seems like it would work, but I wouldn't know for sure because I'm a noob at mods.

I really wanted to use something like the following mods put together. I wish I had more time so I could learn how to put all of these into one mod that changes with time. I was thinking of putting each feature (trees, vs groundcovers) on their own timers of when to turn on and off, but I have no idea how to do much of anything. I have thus far added books to my game and that's it. Oh and I got partway through doing something with food but it became buggy and I haven't gotten back to it.

Anyone think this is possible? Anyone want to do it? I will try if I get the chance and no one else wants to. I don't know if it's possible to make the game transition from one texture to the other... Perhaps I could make it so you could switch between modes in mod manager, like you can turn frostfall on and off etc.
