Durablity

The first thing i have to say is, my english maybe sounds strange at some points because it isnt perfect ;), so back to topic.

I always waited for some real hardcore mods which make the game a lot harder, not just improving NPCs dmg or their Health, no more complex things like Eating/Drinking/Sleeping like IMPS (Thanks for your mod :) ), or like HBE, so i thought, what else could make the game harder? One thing that made the game for me more boring was the fact, that you could upgrade your weapons and armor to some insane point at which you could just onehit nearly everything, of course people would say, then dont do it! The Problem is i am someone who cant do that, because the possibility is there to do it. However i asked myself, is it Possible to add Durablity to items? It would be natural, that your items Quality get Worse the more you fight, and at some point it would just break apart. My idea is, Adding durablity to all items, like weapons and armor, and when they are losing durablity the Dmg/Armor reduces for each point, of course there should be some Repairing option available, i think buying some repairs at the blacksmith would be to easy for myself, but repairing it yourself with materials you need to craft a specific armor would be great. What do you think about this?

It seems likely that a mod could be made that reduces the quality of already upgraded items gradually back down to the base variant.

There is a Papyrus function that could be implemented in a script:

http://www.creationkit.com/DamageObject_-_ObjectReference

What is unclear is whether the item could degrade below its base level.

I also read somewhere on the CK site that upgrades are implemented by the item health being above 100% (can't find the page now...)

By the way, it seems that there is an entire interface called 'Destruction Data' which would store the data for the effect once a certain amount of damage is done to an item.
