boct1584
Here's what my FNV4GB.log looks like when trying to launch it: Loader: Getting windows version - 6.2.9200 Loader: Address Space Size = 0xFA5D1000 Loader: Getting executable name - D:\Games\Steam Library\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\fnv4gb.exe Loader: Parsing Command Line... Loader: Trying to get game path from Bethesda Softworks registry key Loader: Attmepting to open HKLM\SOFTWARE\Bethesda Softworks\FalloutNV - Failed Loader: Trying to get game path from Steam registry key Loader: Attmepting to open HKLM\SOFTWARE\Valve\Steam - Succeeded Loader: Attempting to query size of "InstallPath" value - Succeeded Loader: Attempting to query "InstallPath" value - Succeeded Loader: Changing directory to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas Loader: Unable set current dir to game dir. - The system cannot find the file specified. The "Executable name" points to the correct location. The registry key InstallPath does not, and I can't even find it in my registry to fix. boct1584
Did some Googling and found that running the vanilla exe from Steam updated the addresses, and I'm good now.
dubiousintent
Thanks for reporting your solution. For clarification: Did you mean you used launched the game from the "Steam Client" (on-line mode) or "FalloutNVLauncher.exe" from the game root folder (off-line mode)?
