TheSixOfDiamonds
So after I added some armor to the XMLs I decided to try adding some of my weapons... and things went south fast. Started with Kusunagi-no-Tsurugi (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74730/?). Added a binding under Ebony. Then I started with the exclusions, tried that and suddenly things broke. Exclusions added to reforge_exclusions, distribution_exclusions_weapon_enchanted, and enchantment_weapon_exclusions with the weapon's base name (since there's a 2h option). After forcing a patch, not only did PaMa not patch, according to MO the .esp became a dummy file. After reinstalling the asynchronous log didn't mention the missing materials for things it didn't patch (like Kusunagi-no-Tsurugi and the Highlander Katanas), though after forcing a patch when I moved my edited PCaPP Armors XML, it came back, and I;m now back to pre-fail. Used the names it showed in the asynchronous log (in Spoiler) for exclusions[12] [CRAFTABLE_PATCHER] Kusanagi-No-Tsurugi (2h): No weapon material found. Excluded from further patching.[13] [CRAFTABLE_PATCHER] Kusanagi-No-Tsurugi: No weapon material found. Excluded from further patching. Did I misread the instrucions? Should I open the Creation kit and find the EDID for exclusions? I'm also not clear (for later) as to what constitutes a "Hero item" would Duncan's Highlander Katana count, since I have to forge it, or would it count because it's named? EDIT: Well, i got Kusunagi-no-Tsurugi to patch, so I must've missed a closing XML tag somewhere. Still need clarification on what constitutes a "Hero" item versus an "Alternate" item. EDIT 2: Apparently I didn't get it to patch before, as I was getting a "no weapon type" error. I got it to patch properly, though I'm not sure how. On the wiki, it says that if something doesn't have a common weapon type to add a weapon_type_binding with this syntax: <binding> <identifier>Weapon Type</identifier> <substring>Weapon Name</substring></binding> I got it to patch Kusunagi-no-Tsurugi by adding one in the bindings that are all listed by name (like Dawnbreaker and Chillrend).
