julianwelton
So I followed the "Skyrim Ultimate Modding Guide" by DonProtein http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76373/? (Great guide but at times I wasn't clear if I was supposed to install everything in a category or just one because the mods seemed so similar). Surprisingly, despite my low specs, I got my game running at a "playable" state for me outdoors (30-35fps most of the time). Unfortunately it does randomly drop down to 20-25fps outdoors with occasional stutters which ruins the experience. In cities it stutters almost non stop and drops down to 10fps often which is completely unplayable. I'm pretty sure the culprit for most of my city trouble is due to "JKs Skyrim" which is a GPU killer (He warned about that in the guide but I thought I'd try it). So I need to go through my list and remove non-essentials that hog vram and was hoping for some help. I'd like advice on how to preserve as much quality as possible while lowering the quality of/removing enough vram hogs to bring my fps up to at least a stable 30fps in cities and outdoors. I also plan on adding a few more mods if possible (Better Sorting, Immersive Armors and Weapons, VioLens, Barenziah Quest Markers, Dark Souls Rings, GoT Armor). My specs are pretty low but since I almost have it working I hope I won't have to change things too drastically. 2.8GHzGeForce 940MX 2gb8gb Ram I included a list of all the mods I installed (in the order I installed them) and a list of my Load Order. I'm using Mod Organizer. I don't own any dlc. Pretty much all the texture mods were 2k. Edited August 31, 2017 by julianwelton
