Looting Animals Requires Daggers

Been thinking about how mining requires a pickaxe and chopping wood requires a woodaxe, so why can't looting animal hide and parts require a bladed tool? I am looking for a basic mod that checks for the player inventory for a weapon with the WeapTypeDagger keyword and if none is found, then a message appears stating, "Harvesting creatures requires a dagger."

I have tried to do it myself with the Creation Kit, but I don't know how to implement a script that checks player inventory for an item with a keyword and set the chance of none to 100 if the script returns false. Even helping out on how to get a working script will be greatly appreciated.

try hunterborn available for both old and newrim. you can craft hunting knives and have the choice to make them compulsory or not, also it gives a more realistic looting system for animals with other things you can make for your campsite. in combination with the camping and frostfall mods from chesko you can have a really good hunter survival experience. I would also recommend a needs mod like ineed to compleat your mod list

Sadly, Hunterborn changes way too much for what I want. What I want to accomplish is something similar to Fallout 4's Wasteland Survival Guide #9 which gives more meat from animal kills, but instead of bonus loot I would want an all or nothing approach and instead of a perk from a book it would be having a dagger in the player inventory.
