lordstormdragon
At some point in my game, I got some perk or item or perhaps magical shrine effect that makes my screen go weird, adds a whitish depth-of-field blur whenever I'm approaching an enemy and thus in range of possible detection. I can't remember or figure out why this is happening? It's terribly annoying, and I'd love to disable this effect. Any ideas?
fms1
The night eye effect is a white "radial blur" effect and the vampire embrace of shadows has night eye + invisibility, is this what you mean? As for the way it's triggering I don't know, maybe a new bug from the latest patch or something (1.4.27), or a mod conflict...

This certainly sounds just like what I'm experiencing, and I seem to recall at some point either equipping an item that added this effect upon enemy proximity, or getting a perk that did this. But I've looked through all the perks, and my active effects and items, but found nothing so far. I'll check again. Could this be an effect of being a werewolf? fms1
There is a night eye for werewolf technically but Beth. never put it in game (console player.addspell <spell id>) as once you change your locked out of character menu and favorites but maybe a "totem" quest, I think there are 3 and they change werewolf shouts. You can find that spell id on UESP wiki under magic effects.
