Mods installed, but not functioning

Hello all!

I've run into a problem, wherein although I have all the mods I want installed, only some of them appear in the "Data Files" tab of the startup window, and none of them have taken effect in the game itself. Despite NMM itself telling me that they are all installed and fully operational, they simply do not register with the game. Oh, and yes, I have been launching it via the "SKSE" option, and yes, I did enable permission for NMM and am running the loader as an administrator.

To clarify further, here is the list of mods I am attempting to use:

-aMidianborn book of silence (all)
-SkySight Skins (Ultra)

-Women of Skyrim-Enhanced female normalmaps

-Ultimate HD fire effects
-Rustic Clothing

-Realvision ENB

Try reinstalling the mods, and if that doesnt work make sure you have the plugins ticked on the plugins tab of NMM. Another thing did you use LOOT?

I actually have gone through and reinstalled each mod, and have checked all plugins. Good advice though, so thanks regardless.

I actually discovered that I had incorrectly installed one of them, and upon installing it correctly, discovered that it really ate up my frame rate. In other words, it's all moot because my computer can't actually handle it : /
