maverikch
according to the F4SE site:F4SE will support the latest version of Fallout available on Steam, and _only_ this version. the latest fallout4 version is 1.10.20.0 (last upd with CC). so if you have that version installed, you need to install the F4SE Build 0.5.0. if you didn't install latest update due to personal reasons. you need to install the F4SE version supporting that Fallout4.exe Version (see file properties / details). there is a link to "archive" for older version. but it seems not easy to verify which version is for which fallout4.exe. I haven't got the latest version of F4SE but I do have the correct version for my version of Fallout4.exe. I have also noticed that when I play the game through Fallout4.exe that the load game button on the main menu is greyed out and not letting me load any games but when I play it through F4SE launcher I can load any save. This is really strange!
maverikch
where are your save files located?by default they should be under c:\users\[username]\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Saves maybe F4SE provides loading saves from another location. maverikch
windows provide folder options to unhide system files and show hidden files. you may change that settings to be sure.if there are yet any files, your save files are stored somewhere else which F4SE recognizes. the file extensions are *.fos.you could alternatively search for those files to make out where they are. then put a save file to the default location and you should get the "load" menu option over fallout4.exei think fallout 4 only provides the default save location. now if you start up a save file over fallout4.exe and console works. it has to do with the f4se version or settings you are using.
