ashkingwulfharth
http://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/r602/ashkingwulfharth/goblin.jpg This is just a reskin of the falmer. I'm trying to make a goblin race to add to Skyrim, and I want to make new models and textures for them, but I want to get something posted as kind of a place holder. Anyway, my problem is I want to know how to create a new race in the ck. I whipped this texture up and applied it to the falmer mesh and saved to create a new .nif. I need to know how to get a new race/form/or whatever to get this nif in the game without replacing the existing falmer. please help. ashkingwulfharth
I created the new race and faction, but it keeps saying the root bone is missing. When I see the model in-game, he looks like a bunch of stretched out body parts and everything is all in a wierd moving pile. ashkingwulfharth
http://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/r602/ashkingwulfharth/goblinpile.jpg see? goblin pile. I'm not sure how I get the root bone to attach to the model. Thats the warning that keeps popping up.

steve40
Don't edit the mesh just to change textures. Use TEXTURE SETS, much better way to do it.
angelmeats
Looks like you messed with the skeleton. Find out what the path for the falmer skeleton is and navigate to that in Race > Your Goblin > Body Data tab > first field that generally points to the skeleton. My guess is it's something like /meshes/actors/falmer/skeleton.nif.
