RockyTV
I was trying to download a few mods today and realized that their link has a special javascript that tries to load a page with HTTP, giving me a "an error occurred" box. Replacing HTTP with HTTPS fixed the issue, allowing me to download the mod.

I've recently been unable to download files and I'm wondering if this is the problem I'm having. Much appreciated.
Nx01King
I too would like to know this. Though you can navigate the site by forcing the secure state, downloading happens over http. Not only that, but when not logging the the secure page in the forums, your username & password is sent over http! That's bad!! I'm thinking of raising this issue.
