Project Nevada Update?

**EDITED** I actually got PN to work without tackle by disabling sprint and using Sawyers Ultimate sprint which doesn't have a tackle. This is the ultimate combo of mods....it's just going to take like a year of testing to get the right setup lol I would delete this post if I could figure out how :P

 

On the PN comment section of nexus it says it is no longer in development and I would need to find someone else to mod it... so..

 

I have a huge problem... : Tackle and Melee AP cost (or lack of)

It is an extremely OP feature on both solid project and PN. Since no mod ever made swinging a giant supersledge cost any AP whatsoever outside of VATS - you can run up to supermutants way more powerful than yourself, push them down, and spam attack melee until they try and get up - push again and repeat until death. I can kite any enemy and do this pretty much through the entire game. I have numerous mods to make the game harder and more immersive....and then even when I try to not use tackle - and run at an enemy to attack, I end up doing this by accident even when I try not to. It ruins everything.... :sad:

 

I asked the Solid Project dude to add a disable feature on tackle and AP cost for melee and he immediately responded saying it will be in next patch! Perfect! Nope....not perfect... because I'm pretty sure PN Core will override the disable feature (which isn't tied to PN tackle in any way) and I won't be able to get all the features I NEED from PN.... So is there any way someone can make a TTW compatible patch or re-release or ANYTHING to simply disable the tackle feature of PN? Or is there a really easy way that I just don't know yet?

 

Something else I would really like to see is a mod that encompasses all features of Jsawyerultimate/PN+extras/solid project/(and this one might be greedy but...) practice makes perfect. It's so frustrating that all these features to make the most immersive game of all time, are available - but you can't use them all at once without feeling like I'm cheating in God Mode. One day ill learn how to use GECK and do this all myself if no one else does....but it might be 2050 by that time.

 

I would also like to mention that RoyBatty's work has been the biggest help for me. Everything from mods to patches to good youtube videos (where he doesn't talk about what he's going to talk about before he talks about it like everyone else). I was so lost and confused getting my TTW to work these past few weeks and I finally can say I have a good grasp of whats what thanks to you Roy. I don't mean to take away from all the others that help but Roy just seems to stand out more maybe lol. So thanks everyone else too :smile:
