jjb54
Okay, I finally updated my much needed Video Card: Nvida - GForce GTX 1080 w/ 8 Gigs of Video Ram on Card. .. NICE ... I really like this card and the options. But here is my question: I'm challenged to get it doing the graphics " just right " and I understand that this is very subjective ... So please share your opinions. I welcome them! :D I'm trying to get the semi-glare toned down some. I have:- Realistic Lighting Overhaul SSE, current version.- Enhanced Lights and FX- Improved Hearthfire Lighting SE Understand I had these and they worked great with my old Video Card. Any thoughts and suggestions are most welcomed, as obviously this again, is a very subjective reality to this game. What one likes, another may not like. So, I'm willing to read and try various thoughts and ideas till I find what works best for me. Thanks again - .. Jj ...
QuagaarWarrior
Are you using realistic lighting overhaul and ELFX at the same time? If so I wouldn't recommend it.Perhaps use an ENB or reshade then use the lighting/weather mods they recommend on that page
jones177
Hi I use a GTX 1080 with a 3440 X 1440 monitor. With medium Reshade & Vivid Weathers I am at 60fps everywhere. This is what I get with vanilla textures(see pic). If you are running at 1080 use ENB or heavy Reshade(bloom). At 1440 resolution use medium Reshade. At 4k resolution you can use a light Reshade & be around 60fps. The "look" of the game depends a lot on your monitor choice. It is really hard to get a good lighting ballance with a TN monitor. It is very easy with a VA monitor. If you decide to try Reshade get one that allows you to change settings in-game like Nyclix's ENB-Reshade. As they both worked fine w/my older Video Card and yes, that gave an improvement to the game. :) Thanks! .. Jj ...

I am currently running everything through the HDMI cable -vs- the other more standard High End normal Video Cable. Since I updated the card, I began to realize how much I honestly do NOT know about video features and games. So thus my asking ... Thanks! .. Jj ...
