Whoopdatrick Posted March 4, 2012 Share Posted March 4, 2012 (edited) This is a Creative Onslaught Production What will the mod contain?The list of features that will be included in this mod are: The Complete Tsurugi- Cloud's complete weapon as well as all the individual swords that it is comprised of.- Upon receiving the Tsurugi weapons, the player will be given the following abilities. Each ability is completely dynamic, and the functionality changes based on what weapon and materia the player has equipped. 1.Blade Swap (Lesser Power)2.Limit Breaker3.Materia Magic · Blade Swap: Lesser Power that player can use to activate menus with options to interchange the different combinations of the Tsurugi Sword without having to hotkey the blades. This will trigger two menus in succession. There will be a menu for the main hand and one menu for the off hand.· Limit Breaker: Limit breakers have a long cool down and generally do a lot of damage. There is only one limit breaker ability for every sword combination. The spell does something completely different depending on which one you are currently using at the time. The Limit Breaker is based on the Materia Equipped.· Materia Magic: A single spell given to the player that controls all spell variations. These variations differ depending on the sword wielded and Materia Equipped.Additionally, each blade will carry a static enchantment on them. The enchantment will change based on Materia Equipped. Redefined Armor Skins- We will be taking some of the old Final Fantasy armor mods that were implemented in Oblivion and redefining them to be included in this mod.* An In Depth Quest Line- Scripted Boss Fights-Voice Acting- Immersive creatively derived content that will make the quest line feel real. Environments- The Midgar Ruins· A dungeon that will have blatant traces of the city Midgar. This is where the quest line will really come to life. There will be vivid detail of what will look like an aged industrial environment. -The Ruins of the ancient Mako Pond· This will be the first dungeon the player will encounter. It will be filled with a significant amount of information, and the player will understand the direction this mod takes with the experience in this dungeon. Since then I have learned how to model and animate, thus we are adding our own models to the game and hopefully we can get them to look better than those that were in Oblivion. • Sword Mechanics: We have completely redesigned how the blades work and the attributes they carry. Depending on the weapons you’re wielding and what Materia you have equip changes these attributes. In addition, each weapon has a Limit Breaker & a spell specially designed for this Mod. For a better Understanding please Read my post below.• Story: Each Blade Set (Apocalypse, Butter Fly, Rune, Edge) will have a chapter in the quest line. In each separate quest line there will also be 1 new materia(Red, Black, White, Blue). Each Storyline Chapter will be released overtime first starting with the Apocalypse Blade. MaLeVoLenTCO Posted March 5, 2012 Share Posted March 5, 2012 (edited) The Apocalypse Blade is near done. I'm about 80% done with the re-texture job. Also Ubersummoner is going to help me model and texture the other Blades. However, we ran run into one problem. Apparently there is no way to equip an off-hand by ways of script. Which hurts the menu based weapon swapping we planned. This means we either have to figure a work around to the way the mod works or wait on the wonderful people working on SKSE. It would be great to have some feedback along the way so that we constantly know what people are thinking about this mod. Also, as soon as we possibly can, we will be putting together a video of the Apocalypse blade. Hopefully, with some breakthroughs in this creation kit, we can show off some of the mechanics/features that will come with the blade in the video.
