Lalaz4
I was wondering if someone could tell me how to make a sub-menu in something like smithing. An example would be like having a menu dedicated to arrows such as there is a menu dedicated to iron or leather. Also if there is a way to make menus within those menus such as having a sword menu under the iron menu, i would love to know that as well. Many thanks in advance! :) Ex:Smithing↓Iron↓Swords
Sunnie
Crafting categories are hard coded and can not be changed. If you want to tinker with the crafting UI and change the layout, you'll need to be able to code Adobe Flash. You can find the flash UI files in Skyrim - Interface.bsa

qbicego
Hi guys I found a mod on the workshop made by Herko_ter_Horst called SHARPE Craftmanship. This mod create new categories in the forge menu. In the comments there's a guy (or a girl) named Meteora888 who explained how to create new categories. I hope it will help somebody. Bye

steve40
Yeah, I investigated custom crafting categories in early May and posted my findings here. Dawnguard adds some new slots, but one problem is that you will have to compete with all the other modders who want to create their own custom categories using those same "spare" slots. The other problem is that the 9 unused category slots added by Dawnguard were probably put there intentionally by Bethesda for use in their next DLC, Hearthfire. So they might not be available for long. There are several more threads here and here. Edited September 7, 2012 by steve40
